I was meant to dive in the morning, but it was cancelled because the Instructor was too busy. Since I’ve left a bungy jumping company has setup at the Bloukrans River bridge (highest bridge in Africa), so with nothing to do I decided to head out and take my first ever Bungy.
Of course it helps that I’m on holiday alone. Usually I’m focussed on finding things the girls like doing, and sensitive to budget. But hey, this is a 1ce in 25 year holiday.
On the way I picked up a hitchhiker. Charles was looking to get to a town outside of Cape Town for work. Although it’s now frowned upon (perhaps even illegal) now, I used to hitchhike a lot when I was younger. Time to return the favour.
“Fear is temporary. Regret is forever!”
You’re not allowed any form of camera on the bridge (of course) so you have no choice, if you want to remember tha event, but to buy the DVD.

I felt all my bones snap out of joint watching that. But it was the (very, very brief!) shot straight dooooooooowwwwwwwwwwnnnnn before you jumped (or more accurately, were pushed) that really generated the old colly-wobbles…
*thumbs up* Good work! I’ll stay at the bar thanks.
Whoa! Nice one. You’re a better man than me! I think I draw the line at bungee.
I finally flew the helicopter – http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=247563&id=821780612&l=2a13e6dfd9. Yup, it was a buzz.
Hope you’re having fun.

Well despite your final statement on the video – I do not have to Bungy jump – and never will:) Glad you enjoyed it though.
Wow, that looked fantastic!
