Would love to hear the guy talking about how “we removed everything” say (when he got to the camera “… and then we put it all right back… except the damn camera… shit, we fucked up there… Oh well, iPad 2.0 isn’t that far off”..:-)
Actually I think a camera would distract from the device. You’d look stupid holding it up to get a shot, and a front facing camera? Perhaps that would work for video messages and the like – but as you say, next version
Hi Rog
Love the i pad spoof I intend to share it with all the i sheep I know!
Just bought an HTC Desire phone so much better, clearer and faster than an iphone – and with flash you can actually view the other 50% sites an iphone can’t!
Hi Rog, Now that you’re no longer an iPad noob and have traveled with the device, I’d be keen to hear your experience as a business user? I’m keen to get one, but am still a bit unsure of the practical use? Convince me?
This is the best business tool I’ve travelled with bar none. Ive used it for video reviewing, spreadsheets, email, blogging, photo sharing, and in Poland sharing a map of Warsaw (Google Maps) to a restaurateur to direct me to shops. It works great as a checklist if you’re running an event, and of course facebook and LinkedIn are a dream.

The battery life is to die for.
Small, light, and great alone or in a crowd.
My vote – get one. It’s that simple.
Cheers
