And really there’s a lot to be impressed about.
Today we had the Readify “KickOn” event. I.e. the annual company kick-off. We fly the whole company together, this year in Melbourne. In the afternoon we meet to celebrate the achievements of the last financial year, and discuss the strategy for the next.
Already there’s a lot to be impressed about. Despite the GFC, we have continued to grow, both financially and in staff, without losing the quality of our consultants, clients, or projects we deliver.
This evening, however, we were in for a treat. Dinner in the Eureka Tower, on the 89th floor. The views, as you can imagine, were stunning, and the food to die for.
Of course no kick-off is complete without awards, and we celebrated the achievements on our peers. Then it was onto some serious eating, socialising, and of course dancing.
As a surprise, Sarah also organised the “Rhianna Effect” a great band, with a great sound, that got everyone on the dance floor.
What really impressed me though, was the video (and photos) that I took with my new phone. Here check it out for yourself, and do ensure that HD is turned ON for full effect. (sometimes it’s better to download the whole movie before playing it)
Consider this HD video is taken, hand-held (i.e. no tripod) and despite standing right next to the speaker, the iPhone Automatic Gain Control just handled it all.
