Lucy, my wench of almost 16 years, and Em our daughter, are getting on their bikes on Saturday for the annual “Gear Up Girl” challenge. Cycle 55km from Cronulla to Sydney Olympic Park to raise funds for the Children’s Oncology Foundation.
There aren’t many cyclists involved, about 37. So they can do with all the support they can get.
Here’s Lu, just back from her training ride today, explaining her mission.
